I've been involved with GSDs for 24 years now. I've been owned and
loved by them for that long. Willimar Kennels consists of myself and
my husband Kevin and my daughter Kelly who handles all our dogs
usually. We also have American Bulldogs who have been quite successful
in the show ring.
We got into showing GSDs when we got our UKC Ch. Covy-Tucker Hill
Marc Majestic,OFA,CGC,TC "Ando". He is AKC and CKC pointed. Ando has a
wonderful attitude for working however he found the conformation ring
rather boring..
We are breeders and owners of Am Ch/2x Sel Can Ch Willimar's Olivia
v ShadowValley,TC, "Livy". She has had a spectaular show career.
Including being awared the Select title 2 years in a row at the
Canadian Nationals..Livy passed her temperament test with flying
colors. Livy is handled by her Co-owner Jeff Pyle. She also was
handled by Kelly who put 9 points on her.We were so pleased with her
that we repeated the breeding.As a result of that breeding we produced
a very handsome young male. He isAm Ch/Can Ch/UKC Ch. Willimar's
GunsNRoses ShadowValley, "Axel". Obtaining his first major from the
6-9 month class. He has Multipe BOB wins. Axel finished his Am
Championship in style by going BOB for his last major.Axel's litter
sister Ava is AKC and UKC pointed. Watch for news on Ava. We did
repeat a third time.. Watch for news of our Willimar's LawandOrder
ShadowValley, "Elliot". He is owned by Jeff Pyle and Sean Bragg
and coowned by Kelly and myself..
Our goal is to breed mentally and structurally sound dogs. Good
temperaments are a must in all our dogs. Not only do we show but we
also work the dogs in obedience (not much in competion yet). We also
feel it is important to find that right home for each and everyone of
our puppies.
